A Covenant Protected Residential Community of High Esteem

A BIT ABOUT US
The Brittany Place Homeowners Association Board of Directors (Board) is a group of neighborhood volunteers elected in our annual member’s meeting by majority vote (more information about Board offices and term lengths and be found here). We work steadfastly to preserve and enhance the appearance of our neighborhood, maintain our property values, and keep our neighborhood safe.
We report the financial status of our organization in our annual meeting. This meeting is also a good forum for homeowners to meet each other and express concerns or offer suggestions on what we can do to keep our community attractive, desirable, and safe.
HISTORY
Construction began in Brittany Place in 2004. The Brittany Place Homeowners Association LLC was formed on November 17, 2005 by the builder, Joy Sanders Bell. She had a visionary concept for our development—build elegant all-brick garden homes on smaller lots (requiring minimal yard and home maintenance) in a quiet cul-de-sac layout (minimizing through traffic) conveniently located near major shopping and dining areas, less than two miles away.
Some of the beautiful amenities you can find in our neighborhood are: all brick construction, architectural shingles, decorative mailboxes and shutters, leaded beveled glass entry doors, fully-enclosed two-car garages and buried utilities. Many homes have enclosed back porches with complete privacy fences around the backyards. Elegant interior features include high ceilings, attractive cornices and interior trim moldings. Most of our homes have traits which make them practical for the mobility-impaired including: ramped thresholds, a large wheel-chair accessible shower, and single story layouts. Brittany homeowners can also enjoy the common area with a gazebo at the north entrance of the subdivision. Terrain in our community is flat to gently sloping, and trees are found in most backyards.
On February 28, 2011, the Association converted from an LLC into its current legal entity, Brittany Place Homeowners Association, Inc. Several fine homes by other quality home builders have been added to our community since that time.
