The City of Millbrook owns and maintains four community parks, three community buildings with rental opportunities, two facilities for organized sports programs, one playground, and one tennis court facility. Each of our parks and community buildings are available for residents and visitors to enjoy. Rich in history and heritage the Capitol City of Montgomery and the surrounding communities of Prattville, Millbrook, and Wetumpka offer such attractions as the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Maxwell AFB, the Hank Williams and Rosa Parks Museums, the First Whitehouse of the Confederacy as well as holding the distinction as the start of the Civil Rights Movement with the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

Alabama Wildlife Federation
The Alabama Wildlife Federation (AWF) is the oldest and largest non-profit conservation organization in Alabama. The AWF was established by sportsmen in 1935 to promote the conservation and wise use of our wildlife and natural resources and to ensure a high quality of life for future generations of Alabamians.
AWF headquarters is located at Lanark in Millbrook, Alabama. Lanark contains five distinct destinations: AWF Headquarters, Historic Lanark, Lanark Pavilion, the Alabama Nature Center and the NaturePlex.

The Parks and Recreation Department maintains community centers, ball fields, parks and special venues throughout the City of Prattville that serve the needs of the citizens and visitors. Wetumpka
The majestic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains provide a magnificent backdrop for the City of Natural Beauty. Once there, you'll find the Coosa River winding through the city offering excellent fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Mountain bike and running trails also hug the Coosa River offering an outdoor atmosphere only offered in Wetumpka.
